Nature

Serra de Tramuntana is rich in fauna and flora, with an abundance of endemic species such as the tiny ferreret or Balearic toad. Some landscapes have been protected due to their obvious ecological value, such as the island of Dragonera, now a Natural Park, or the Torrent de Pareis and the Ufanes Springs, declared natural monuments.

To discover the Serra, there is nothing better than to follow hundreds of paths, often linked to the GR-221 long-distance footpath, along which you will find refuges, recreational areas and interpretation centres with detailed information on the natural and cultural heritage.
