This theoretical-practical workshop of coexistent characteristics, is based on spending some days in a mountain refuge as an area for work based on Cahen’s work: the sequence shot in his work, the way of filming or painting in motion, doing analytical research with students.

The Sierra is known for its landscape, on the Route of La Pedra en Sec or its hydraulic infrastructures but what is not well known is its connections to the sea and traditional activities. The programme includes activities like workshops, showing documentary films or the exhibition of ship models or of mestresd 'aixa tools.

The purpose of these awards is to portray a setting, which, as a result of human activity, has resulted in a landscape created by this activity, which is productive, sustainable and is also magnificent and beautiful.
La Serra de Tramuntana and Robert Graves
In autumn in 1929 Robert Graves came to the Sierra of Tramuntana, which is a World Heritage site. He had already written some poetry collections, his autobiography and the life story of his friend, Lawrence of Arabia.
