The Serra de Tramuntana World Heritage Consortium organises an annual photography competition in collaboration with the Balearic Islands Nature Photography Association (AFONIB).
The aim of this photography competition is to showcase all the elements that make up the cultural landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana: the terraced fields, the irrigation system, the cobbled paths, the ‘possessions’ and the hamlets, as well as the produce grown on this challenging land.
The competition, with a total prize fund of €5,600, is open to anyone – whether amateur or professional – who wishes to enter. Entrants must be the authors of the photographs they submit and must hold the rights to them.
The winning images will be honoured at the official awards ceremony and will form part of a travelling exhibition throughout the Serra de Tramuntana.
The deadline for submitting photographs to the eighth edition of the competition was 30 September 2026.
