The Serra de Tramuntana has been declared a Natural Site, due to the richness and diversity of its landscapes, with wooded areas made up of holm oak and pine forests and other plant communities that alternate with agricultural areas dedicated to the heart of the olive tree on terraces, or citrus and almond trees in the valleys. There are numerous public estates that can be visited, in some cases with signposted routes for hikers and shelters.
